So, I’m really good at doing modifications on dolls. Not so good at painting them.

So, I don’t know if I’ve told you all this, but I love the doll community from Austin. Seriously, they’re really cool! I’ve been to two other cities’ meetups, but the meetups in Austin have been by far the most fine. (insert Smoove B reference here) I’m WAY too excited for the next meetup – in the meantime, I think I may call Eno, Septunie, or Cosplaybunny (when she’s done with her work) to hang out sometime. >:3

I’ll preface this by saying that I have never edited photos of my dolls before like I have done in this photoshoot; I think I’ll make it a habit, as if forces me to choose the best photos AND to spend a lot of time thinking about the composition/what I want/what mood I want to show, artistically speaking.

After the shoot, Azel was fiddling on his phone, and, being the technophobe he is, attempting to check his voicemail.
Azel: [[Why is it so loud!?]]
Doll-speaking, I think Azel and Melange and I had a lot of fun with this shoot. C: However, many awkward times were to be had by Azel, as he’s gay and Melange is dating Shin. There were some times when I felt like he’d sigh or say, “Why me?”
Of course, the hilarity wouldn’t end there:

So guys – I’m getting two new Ginarolo eyes! 8D
First, the revelation: I was messing around with eyeballs the other day, (ふふふ) when I realized that 16mm eyes look better in -everyone-. Not just Atelair and Melange, but like… all of my dolls look really good in 16mm. The 16′s are good in Atelair because they make him all dewey-eyed, and the 16′s are good in Shin, Azel, and Naoto because they’re more mature-looking.
SO on to the eyes. They’ve been shipped, and they are:
